No-load test run of internal mixer
1: Firstly, start the lubricating oil pumps and hydraulic stations of the internal mixer and check if the oil supply to each part is normal. After the oil pump and hydraulic station work normally for 15 minutes, start the main motor and observe whether the rotor rotation is correct from the outlet end of the mixing chamber. Usually, before leaving the factory, the internal mixer is idle for more than 2 hours and idle for more than 4 hours at the user's location.
2: Open the cooling water system of the mixer and check for any leaks.
3: In both manual and automatic operation states, the weight, feeding door, and unloading door should be opened multiple times, and the action should be flexible and reliable.
4: During the empty running test of the internal mixer, check the following items:
a: The lubrication of the transmission gears and bearings of the reducer is sufficient, and the sealing parts are well sealed.
b: There should be no significant vibration or periodic noise during operation.
c: When idling, the main motor is at a single speed and its power consumption should be less than 15% of the rated power
d: The temperature of bearings in various parts of the internal mixer should not suddenly rise, and the temperature rise of rotor bearings and reducer bearings should be ≤ 20 ℃.
Load test run of internal mixer
1: Only after passing the no-load test run of the internal mixer can the load test run be carried out. During the load test run, each equipment needs to undergo continuous load operation of no less than 20 vehicles of materials.
2: During the load test run of the mixer, the speed should be adjusted from low to high speed, and the soft material should be tested first before the hard material.
3: During the load test run of the mixer, the amount of glue added gradually increases from 50% and 75% of the working volume to full load.
4: The mixer should have an interlocking device that starts the lubricating oil pump first before starting the main motor, and at the same time, it can be idle for 10-15 minutes before feeding for load test run.
5: After the last batch of rubber refining is completed, idle for 15-20 minutes before stopping. During idle operation, the end face sealing lubrication system continues to inject oil into the sealing surface to achieve cleaning and lubrication of the sealing end face.6: During the load test run of the internal mixer, the following items should be checked:
A: Whether the basic technical parameters meet the requirements of the internal mixer regulations.
B: The temperature rise of the rotor bearing should be ≤ 40 ℃.
Some methods and steps for operating an internal mixer
1. Calculate the amount of rubber to be mixed and the actual formula based on the capacity of the internal mixing chamber and the appropriate filling coefficient (0.6-0.7);
2. According to the actual formula, accurately weigh the amount of various raw materials in the formula, place raw rubber, small ingredients (ZnO, SA, accelerators, antioxidants, solid softeners, etc.), reinforcing or filling agents, liquid softeners, and sulfur separately, and arrange them in order on the shelf;
3. Turn on the power and heating switches of the mixer, preheat the mixer, and check whether the air pressure, water pressure, and voltage meet the process requirements. Check whether the temperature measurement system, timing device, and power system indicate and record properly;
4. After preheating the mixer, stabilize it for a period of time and prepare for rubber mixing;
5. Lift the top bolt, put the cut raw rubber into small pieces into the mixer from the feeding port, drop the top bolt, and refine the rubber for 1 minute.

Reasons for scorching in plastic mechanical extruders
Causes of scorching
(1) Excessive temperature control causes plastic charring.
(2) The screw has been used for a long time without cleaning, resulting in the accumulation of burnt materials and extrusion with plastic.
(3) If the heating time is too long, the plastic deposits will be heated for a long time, causing the plastic to age, deteriorate, and scorch.
(4) The parking time is too long, and the machine head and screw are not cleaned, resulting in plastic decomposition and burning.
(5) Repeated mold or color changes can cause plastic decomposition and burning.
(6) The head cover is not tightly pressed, and the plastic is aging and decomposing inside.
(7) The failure of the temperature control instrument resulted in scorching after ultra-high temperature.
